forest therapy

Forest Therapy, also known as Forest Bathing, is a relational practice that brings people into deeper intimacy with natural places. And one of those natural places is our natural self; it’s a practice that holds the possibility of meeting again the inner child of who we are, and what we are born to be and how we are intended to be of service in the world. It’s also important to recognize how the practice supports every aspect of our well-being. There are many wonderful health benefits attributed to forest therapy including boosted immune functionimproved cardiovascular and respiratory healthattention restoration and a reduction in stress and depression. Let’s walk in the healing forest of Vancouver Island together as a way to engage in the therapeutic process. I offer 60 and 90 minute walks through the forest while engaging in therapy practice.

  1. Back to basics came to mind when I reflect on being in a forest setting guided to connect to our core being and purpose.
I’m my life I often become closed, blocked and distracted. Nature is a spiritual tool to help me to connect with myself and nature, slowing the business of my mind.
A good practice to uncover aspects of myself that hinder my inner peace.
