CPTT stands for “Certified Partner Trauma Therapist” and it is an earned title after one’s name. This training is one of numerous specialties offered by the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals, or IITAP. The qualifications are rigorous and only available to licensed providers. CPTT training is the most in-depth and is backed by extensive research on best practices lead by many clinicians in the field; the work is supported by incredible literature and clinical support materials.
